Lowest average ever

July 14, 2010

The average heart rate today must be the lowest ever, still at a very slow pace, never mind this is what training is for.

Look at records from a year ago, I hardly could run. I didn’t use any electronic gadget to chart my heart rate last year. I used HRM watch, the right hand column shows the average rate for each run.

40 minutes in Green

July 11, 2010

I ran today for the first time 40 minutes in green zone. It was hard to run slow. However the run was very comfortable today even under this high temperature. Theory says that training should be done between 65-85% of maximum heart rate, MHR, therefore I should be running most of the time in my green zone.

A cloudy morning

July 9, 2010

I must be too concern about too slow a pace I was making so at the second half I tried bigger stride. That obviously wasn’t too good for keeping within green zone.
